I may be about a year behind in posting this session but I could not resist since these two are a huge part of my life. It was a super early and cold morning when we set up these photos. Big Al, Audrey and I had already done the first important part, which was find the perfect ring for my baby sister. Alex had a plan to get the ring before Christmas and hold on to it until February .
Well, his patience was running thin especially since family knew and we all were trying not to blow this huge secret. So he bumped up his proposal date to December.
We had been scheming ways to make Morgan dress up and without realizing there was a huge question behind the purpose of their early morning date. Insert the Vann family. Lisa is a lover of photos (she is everyones local I had been out the evening before celebrating a friends birthday a little too much the evening before. It was a huge relief when the whole family let this secret out!
A whimsical fall engagement session started with a little wine and flatbread pizzas at Veritas. Next stop was a random spot on the side of the road that screamed fall with all of the vibrant leaves. In that magic spot we round a stream… gorgeous back drop indeed!
We wrapped up right before sunset overlooking the blue ridge mountains at Ravens Roost overlook. I highly suggest taking an adventure to see these views!
