This newborn sessions is one of the sweetest. Momma Kelsey had such good ideas. From Dads old toy fire truck to his stuffed peter rabbit we were able to make a few good scenes from these treasured pieces. He even is laying in a basket his grandma made him. How sweet is that?! He is just so so sweet!
There is so much about this newborn session that I love. First thing is that Alice was born on Easter of this year. Her mom wanted to incorporate bunny ears which is perfect. Then mom and dad (both being book lovers) came up with the idea of having Alice laying on top of a pile of their favorite books "tuckered" from reading. BUT WAIT! It gets better! They even located books that had all of Alice's names in them... check out the picture above where it says Alice Rose Owen! So creative. I love when parents have their own inspiration for their newborn shoot.
Alice's nursery consists of owls and fun bright colors. We also incorporated her sweet little newborn bonnet that was hand knitted and given to her at the hospital. Lastly Theresa wanted to incorporate her "push present" which is a gorgeous ring with Alice's birthstone, which will one day be her very own ring.
Sweet little Carson made his debut a month early. Unfortunately we missed our Maternity session date but boy did he make up for it with his cuteness! Such a rockstar baby. I love his cute little deer outfit and camo boots... a good touch to fit mom and dads personality for sure!
Little Vincent decided to make his debut earlier than we expected. We were unable to get together for Chelsea & Joe's maternity session unfortunately but Vincent made up for it by being one of the most relaxed babies ever. He didn't fuss a bit when we put him in a basket filled with golf balls. That may be his way of letting dad know he is going to follow in his footsteps! Thank you Shelley's Shabby Shack for the vintage club set and bread basket! They were the perfect props for this session!
These are two of the sweetest girls around. When Tracey emailed me about newborn photos I was so excited. I have begun to fall in love with newborn photography and these two fueled my love for it even more. Delany's beautiful eyes and Tenley's fabulous head of hair already spell out trouble for mom and dad!!
