Congratulations to the newly married Mr. & Mrs. Samples! These high school sweethearts decided to tie the knot at the decadent Sandals La Toc in St Lucia. Some would think it impossible to top a romantic Paris proposal beneath the Eiffel Tower, but somehow, these two managed to pull it off! They made their escape with family & friends to St. Lucia. The beauty of the island had to take second place to this gorgeous wedding. After some champagne, an intimate first look, and some hugs and laughter Jamie & Tim stood under a gazebo facing the jewel blue sea to exchange their vows. Though it was the notorious rainy season, the sky held off until just after the ceremony, where it poured warm island rain upon the happy couple. It was if this special day had been christened by the island herself! The setting sun over Rodney Bay made for a lovely lavender end to the evening. It was sheer perfection! Though their sweet husky, Shelby Blu, could not attend, she was with them in spirit. Jamie & Tim brought her in their hearts and knew that she would approve of all the festivities. Afterwards, the happy & adventurous couple spent two weeks with their dearest friends exploring all that St. Lucia has to offer. They are off to a great start! Best Wishes!
Blush and Gold Yorktown Freight Shed wedding: Mr and Mrs Johnson
It all started with a date on the beach in Yorktown....then love changed everything! Within 6 months, this sweet couple got engaged, purchased a house, and began planning the rest of their lives together. The forecast called for rain...yet miraculously, it was a beautiful day with not a drop of rain to dampen spirits or hearts. In her Ava Clara gown, Brittany took everyone's breath away. Todd, who lost his dad to cancer, wore his father's watch so that he too could be a part of this special day. After a touching church ceremony, Todd and Brittany headed back to the beach where it all began. The bride chose pink, blush, and gold that only enhanced the beautiful setting overlooking the York River. The Coleman Bridge stood quietly in the background, perhaps symbolic for bridging hearts and families together. The couple chose the historic Freight Shed to celebrate their I dos. The Freight Shed was originally built in 1935 on the banks of the York River and has undergone many transformations in its lifetime. It has been a steamship terminal, a post office, and now hosts events and celebrations against a stunning backdrop. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking and made for some amazing photos of the blissful couple. They danced the night away with friends and family, only making their exit beneath a shower of sparklers and well-wishes.

William and Mary Alumni house wedding: Charlie & Claire
Charlie and Claire met each other when they both attended the historic and prestigious William and Mary in the beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia. What better place to exchange vows than at the Alumni House! The bride and bridesmaids readied themselves at the Williamsburg Manor House Bed and Breakfast. The ceremony took place out in the garden beneath beautiful boughs adorned in their finest spring greenery. Though the sky looked heavy with rain, everyone remained hopeful that the sun would make an appearance. A stringed quartet played on the lawn. The bridesmaids were in Williamsburg blue, of course! The bride, dressed in a gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown from Tiffany's Bridal in Richmond, was such a sight to behold that the sun just couldn't help but shine down right in time for the "I do's"! Crim Dell bridge is a must for any wedding at William and Mary, so the sweet couple carried on the tradition with a kiss at the top. Legend has it that if two lovers cross together and kiss at the crest, they will be together forever! It was quite a lucky day! After photos of the wedding party and the new Mr. and Mrs. amongst the lush garden setting were complete, the reception ensued. Family and friends danced to the lively music of The Lone Rangers and toasted the new couple under sparkling lights. The cake was made by Dorthy Busic, a family friend, and was as delicious as it was beautiful. It was another history-making day in Williamsburg, Virginia. Best wishes Mr and Mrs Clark!

A Country Vineyard Fairytale Wedding: Sanctuary Vineyards, NC Courtney+ Troy
Courtney and Troy met online at Match.com. One of their very first dates was here, at Sanctuary Vineyards during one of their Wine festivals. Courtney has many fur babies and you better believe they were there for the couples big Day! Harley and Earl were draped in Floral garlands by Kelly Gish Floral designs and Dottie her sweet little jack Russell sported her momma's sunflower. I would have to say Dottie may have been one of the best behaved bridal party members during formal photo time. She was always looking at the camera... but I do owe her about 36 treats now. When it came time for the ceremony the sun peeked out as Courtney, who was escorted by her dad and two Horse's walked down the vineyard to say I do to the love of her life. After the ceremony the happy coupledanced the night away to the Little Country band. Everything was simply gorgeous! Congrats Courntey and Troy!!

A Virginia Beach Watermans Wedding: Stephanie & Jay
The day threatened rain....yet not even Mother Nature could put a damper on Jay and Stephanie's ig day! This is, after all, no ordinary love. A close friend decided they were meant to be, and yes, she was in the wedding! Fast forward a bit to the end of a zip line, where Jay waited for the love of his life on bended knee. What girl could say no while zipping into the arms of a handsome man with a RING?!? After saying their vows at St. John's United Methodist Church in Norfolk, Virginia, the happy couple headed to the oceanfront in Virginia Beach to celebrate with family and friends. Mother Nature, being the hopeless romantic that she is, held off the rain for this sweet bride and groom. The navy blue and light pinks against the backdrop of the ocean and dramatic sky made for some pretty spectacular photographs. The bride looked truly ethereal in her tiered strapless white gown. The Attic, upstairs, inside Waterman's made for an uniquely intimate and elegant setting. They danced the night away while sipping on Waterman's famous Orange Crushes beneath giant wooden beams with windows looking out onto sweeping ocean views. It was a perfect end to a perfect day!
