A Cavalier Hotel Christmas Wedding in Virginia Beach VA

A December Champagne brunch

Tyler

and

Megan

Megan and Tyler shared vows at the Cavalier hotel with 60 of their closest friends and family. When you meet these two, you instantly are drawn to their fun and easy going personality. They decided to celebrate their marriage on a warm, sunny December day in Virginia Beach. Their details were a perfect mix of a modern and classic Christmas.

All of the guests sat at the large table inside the loggia surrounded by chandeliers and Christmas wreaths . A large tablescape of magnolia leaves and pops of pinecones ran down the table from end to end with little red bows holding each guests name tag.

Cleetus, their cute pup, was unable to attend but remembered by his large portrait displayed in cocktail hour. Instead of doing a traditional cake cutting, the two chose their first shared task as husband and wife by pouring champagne into the champagne tower because Champagne is always a good idea in the morning!

Thank you Megan and Tyler for having me spend your special morning with you!

Desert Rose Fall Wedding at the Delta Virginia Beach VA

Nate

and

Kaitlin

Nate and Kaitlin’s Fall wedding was absolute perfection! The couple’s magical day began first thing in the morning with a pop of champagne, hair and make-up for the bride and her girls. Early afternoon, guests began to arrive and await the arrival of the wedding party.

The traditional ceremony was held at St. Johns the Apostle Catholic Church. The moment Nate saw Kaitlin for the first time, walking down the aisle, was a game changer. You could feel their love emanate throughout the church!

Post ceremony, the party continued as guests and family transitioned to the Delta Marriott for cocktail hour and the reception. Guests were surrounded by pink uplighting and a breathtaking view of the sunset sky that evening. The newlywed’s danced the night away and even snuck in a little Lolly’s Creamery on the dance floor, with the best flavor EVER, night surfer.

The evening wrapped up with a sparkler exit onto the Bay. The night ran smoothly thanks to the coordination efforts from our ladies with Sunkissed events.

An intimate vibrant floral micro Wedding Sandbridge Virginia

Jeff

and

Corrie

An intimate rainy fall evening was well spent celebrating Corrie and Jeff. Their family and close friends gathered at the Baja in Sandbridge VA. It started off with good luck as it rained while the couple shared their first look on their beach house balcony. The skies cleared up and Corrie got her dream beach photos just in time. The two have two sweet pups, Chewy and Cooper, who were unable to partake in their parents festivities but they were honored with their names being mom and dad’s drink choice that evening.

A bright, beautiful flower palette surrounded the guests as they mingled amongst each other and danced the evening away. A perfect ending to a perfect day for the PERFECT couple.

Kelsey

and

Blake

Meet Blake and Kelsey. These two love birds were flying on different paths when they first met. The couple were introduced through mutual friends; however, Kelsey had just gotten out of a serious relationship and ultimately was not ready to start something new at the time.

With things seeming to fizzle, Blake was set to move out to Colorado. But as fate would have it, Kelsey reached out to him on the day he was leaving. These two star crossed lovers spoke EVERY DAY following. After months of long distance, Blake and Kelsey knew they needed to decide on a destination for both.

A wonderful bundle of joy made their decision surprisingly easy when Kelsey found out she was pregnant with her beautiful baby boy Carson. This growing little family became engaged and Blake surprised Kelsey with a family photo session for her birthday gift.

After a postponement due to covid, the couple were happily wed at the Denali Jean Ranch in Virginia Beach, VA in front of their closest friends and family. And of course, their two little babes + fur baby could not wait for Daddy and Mommy to get married!

Whimsical Yoga inspired wedding on the water in Virginia Beach VA

Jesse & Lindsay

Meet Jesse and Lindsay. This power couple are both personal trainers addicted to teaching Yoga. So much so, they had a Yoga Ceremony at the wedding! Which in reality is the perfect way to celebrate each other because the term Yoga, means yoke or union (union of the breath, body and mind)

The two were wed in mid-September at the home of a close friend and client. The ceremony was intimate with only family in attendance and took place waterside. Jesse’s daughter was the most magical of flower girls, walking down the aisle as her dad was getting ready to wed his bride. The officiant was the couple’s personal friend who flew in from California in order to celebrate their big day.

Post ceremony, it was time to party! The guests arrived and the DJ began to pump up the jams. You knew things were getting hot when a few boats even began to roll up to take part!

There is a phrase used often with people in the Yoga Community, that is Namaste. Namaste definitely incorporated the passion that Jesse and Lindsay share for ease other: “The light and love in me recognizes the light and love in you.”
