A vow renewal at Waterman's in Virginia Beach VA

A Snowy Christmas vow renewal

Jen

and

Rick

A dash of snow, Mistletoe margaritas, a caricature artist and her Grandpas old mint blue and white Ford are just a few of the details that stick out to me about Jen and Rick’s day. All of those things are fun touches but the most memorable moment during this vow renewal was when their little Henry (who was also celebrating his 4th birthday this day) grabbed both of their hands as they continued to promise forever to each other. (Cue the tears!)

The night continued with the sweetest toasts from their family members and friends. Jen was a vision as she twirled with her new hubby on the dance floor in her gorgeous gown. Even her gown had a sentimental touch, if you looked closely at her straps you could find tiny pieces of lace from her grandmother’s wedding dress sewn in. The evening wrapped up with a happy birthday song for Henry and his special cake made by Shortcakes sweets. Only a snowy exit could complete this perfect Christmas vow renewal as the couple made their way towards the vintage Ford.

Congratulations Jen & Rick, it was an honor to document your day alongside this fun vendor crew!

A Cavalier Hotel Christmas Wedding in Virginia Beach VA

A December Champagne brunch

Tyler

and

Megan

Megan and Tyler shared vows at the Cavalier hotel with 60 of their closest friends and family. When you meet these two, you instantly are drawn to their fun and easy going personality. They decided to celebrate their marriage on a warm, sunny December day in Virginia Beach. Their details were a perfect mix of a modern and classic Christmas.

All of the guests sat at the large table inside the loggia surrounded by chandeliers and Christmas wreaths . A large tablescape of magnolia leaves and pops of pinecones ran down the table from end to end with little red bows holding each guests name tag.

Cleetus, their cute pup, was unable to attend but remembered by his large portrait displayed in cocktail hour. Instead of doing a traditional cake cutting, the two chose their first shared task as husband and wife by pouring champagne into the champagne tower because Champagne is always a good idea in the morning!

Thank you Megan and Tyler for having me spend your special morning with you!
