A playful pink twist on a classic fall soiree at the Cavalier Hotel

Rebecca and Ryan

Rebecca & Ryan chose the Cavalier for its timeless architecture, history, and its effortlessly playful and vibrant decor. Exactly how the couple would describe their style. These two chose nods of classic and traditional wedding elements such as a classic dress, simple invitations, a historic venue, a plain all white tiered cake that was adorned with flowers, and the string quartet.

Rebecca chose the pink color palette, Coastal Cocktails tasting bar, a crossword about their relationship during cocktail hour, a late night boozy coffee bar, writing their vows together, and their music selections to add a little fun and playfulness to the day. Their ceremony songs were all modern songs played by a string quartet.

It was a beautiful November sunset as the two popped a champagne top and toasted amongst the historic belle tower. They danced the night away and snuck out for a cigar break under the warm evening. At the end of the night guests sipped cappuccino martinis before saying farewell to the bride and groom underneath the sparkler exit.

A Classic white garden wedding at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach

Cali and Ryan

Sneaking up to the Belle tower to watch these two share a couple of kisses under a September sky will always be a favorite wedding moment for my business.

I met Cali & Ryan on the Eastern shore almost a year ago to document their engagement portraits . I hadn’t seen them until this past weekend and walking into the bridal suite I was greeted by Cali’s big hug. She is one of a kind with her warmth and fun sense of humor which makes complete sense why Ryan came back to swoop this girl off of her feet once they finished college.

The two were married in the famous sunken garden at the Cavalier hotel. Surrounded by white flowers of all types and clear and white chiavari chairs for guests to sit in. It was as breathtaking scene.

Ryan and his guys enjoyed cigars on the balcony with his dad reminiscing about the days he use to coach baseball with all of these boys who now stood by his sons side. Cali danced the night away with all of her family and friends under the glittery chandeliers and white dance floor. It was an honor to be a part of your day.

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Bono!
