A Classic Southern Barn Wedding at The Venue in Pungo Virginia

Classic May wedding at the Venue at Denali Jean Ranch

May will mark a year since we celebrated Emily and Ethan tie the knot on a gorgeous spring day. They were surrounded by family and friends at The Venue in Pungo VA. Emily walked down the aisle in her mother’s redesigned wedding gown, to her groom who was smiling ear to ear. My favorite moment was watching these two share a first hand hold and prayer along with their momma’s by their side. My second favorite moment was watching Emily turn to the videographer to leave a message to their future babies on camera (there was not a dry eye who witnessed that moment).

I was always planning on highlighting their wedding at some point, I thought about waiting until their anniversary month, but with the couples permission I wanted to share a little about why this month of February is so special.

This is the month that their angel girl, Madi Grace was due. During Emily's pregnancy, they found out Madi girl would be born with Turner syndrome. There is only a 2% chance that a baby will be born with this and it only affects females.

These proud parents wanted to use this space to promote awareness to Tuner Syndrome and to help advocate for those ladies out there who live with it every day. If you are interested in learning more about Turner Syndrome (click that link) and if you even find it in your heart, you can make a donation there as well.

Brock Center Engagement session & Botanical Gardens Elopement.

An intimate elopement at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens & Engagement session at The Brock Environmental Center

When life is full force, sometimes there is limited time to plan a wedding.

When I met Paige she was in the middle of studying for her boards to become a PA.We met one blustery evening at the Brock environmental center to photograph their engagements. Paige was dressed in a gorgeous Emerald green gown looking flawless as well as her future groom in his navy suite. The colors were so complimentary.

A busy schedule including school, work and a clinical rotation helped the couple realize that the path of elopement was perfect for them. Paige and Andrew decided to go straight to JOP and celebrated by doing their wedding portraits at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens ending it with a night of pizza with family, not to mention that girl found out she passed her boards that day! Ending to a perfect wedding day!

A Colorful Fall Wedding at the Gala 417 : Leanna and Peter

A Virginia Beach Fall inspired September wedding at the Gala 417.

When two hearts meet on Bumble, the rest is history. Leanne and Pete Celebrated their day with close friends and Family at the Gala 417 in Great Neck. White drapery set the romantic tone while guests danced all night under the chandeliers.

The Virginia Beach weather was showing off that day. Not an ounce of humidity and a cool breeze blew in as the bridal party photos proceeded. The perfect touch was at the end of the evening when a beautiful sunset of hot pink and blue appeared which I do believe was Peter’s mother smiling down on the Newlyweds.

Congrats Mr and Mrs Langlands!
