Rustic Knotts Island engagement session: Jessica & Scott

Ahhh I just cannot get enough of these vibrant bright colors from Jessica and Scott's engagement session! If you had to ask me to narrow down my favorite photo from this session I would not be able to because i am OBSESSED!! Initially we had talked about photographing down in Carova since it is a special spot for these two but then Jessica's dad found this amazing hidden gem for us to photograph at. Let me tell you it is a photographers dream or maybe just this girls dream. Ya'll must know by now that I have an obsession with old barns and tons of field that spread that golden light which paints the most breathtaking backdrop at sunset. Besides the insanely gorgeous backdrop lets discuss how adorable Jessica & Scott are?! Their sweet little smiles turn into full out laughs and silly faces but I absolutely adore it! Jessica almost looks like a modern day snow white in her white dress walking through the woods at golden hour. Now let me stop yapping so you can start to swoon over this gorgeous Spring time-rustic engagement session!

Hill Bump : Maternity

I met with Veronica and her hubby on a chilly, cloudy Sunday morning. We shot in one of my secret spots which is an old hay barn. Its the perfect rustic place! It was a little muddy... then there was that dead possum but it didn't stop us! Veronica had told me about her pregnancy and how it hasn't been an easy one. She was really excited to document this time though and I think the pictures turned out adorable.

Briener-Koenig : Wedding

On September 7th, This fun loving, handsome couple tied the knot! It was the perfect day with bright cotton ball clouds, a big blue sky with a hint of coolness in the air which creates your dream weather when it comes to Virginia Beach's crazy climate. I met Kendal down at Oceanaire Hotel to snap some pictures of her and her girlfriends getting ready ready for this rustic country wedding... notice she didn't take her boots off all morning :) That's my girl! After the ladies were ready we set off to her Aunt and Uncle's farm out in Blackwater. There were plenty of smiles, kisses, hugs and happy tears. I worked alongside some of Virginia Beach's amazing vendors, Lovell productions and Sunkissed events. I am so happy that Kendal chose me to be apart of her big day <3

Soo beyond excited to be shooting this couples wedding next weekend! This lady holds a special place in my heart and I cannot wait to watch her become Mrs Koenig ;)

I always have a fabulous time shooting with these two. I have to say Mark is a very patient husband and doesn't object to the torture that Somer and I put him through. Cant wait for our next photo adventure!
